President
Mark Gallacher currently serves as President of Allison-Smith Company, LLC and has more than a decade of electrical contracting experience. Mr. Gallacher was promoted to President of the company in 2018 and previously served Allison-Smith in the roles of Executive Vice President from 2016-2017, Vice President from 2014-2016, Project Executive from 2011-2014, and Project Manager from 2005-2014.
In his current role as President, Mr. Gallacher drives the company culture and provides strategic direction. Functionally, his work includes executive support for project execution, monitoring and ensuring Allison-Smith project teams meet the company’s standard of excellence on every job and maintaining relationships with key clients. Mark also enjoys assisting in-house preconstruction design, providing electrical design oversight, value engineering, commissioning, witness testing and validation.
Vice President
Jason Smith is a seasoned leader currently heading Allison-Smith Company’s Modular Construction and Production Engineering departments, while also supporting the Project Management and Preconstruction teams. His prior role as Project Executive at the company involved nearly two decades of managing Data Center electrical and telecommunications construction for Google hyperscale projects nationwide.
Smith joined Allison-Smith Company right after college, initially as an Assistant Project Manager, quickly rising to become a Project Manager overseeing the company’s largest projects in history.
Jason’s expertise and dedication have been instrumental in driving innovation and revenue growth at Allison-Smith Company. His leadership and commitment to excellence continue to be invaluable assets in advancing the company’s construction endeavors. Smith holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology from Southern Polytechnic State University and is a licensed professional engineer.
Technical Manager
Brian Banner serves as Technical Manager at ASModular, where he works closely with our modular solutions team to develop innovative solutions for both existing and potential clients. With over 30 years of experience in electrical design and construction, Brian has worked on dozens of data center projects in roles ranging from contractor to designer and design-builder. His expertise in mission-critical facilities, including power generation and data centers, makes him a valuable asset in delivering tailored engineering solutions.
At ASModular, Brian works with our clients to identify their specific needs, providing tailored value-engineered solutions that optimize designs to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain the high standards required for mission-critical environments. His deep understanding of electrical systems coupled with his hands-on experience in modular construction allow him to bridge the gap between customer requirements and practical, high-quality execution.
Manager of Modular Solutions
Wilson holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Mercer University and is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt, bringing a disciplined approach to process improvement. His expertise in structural steel design, manufacturing operations, and 3D CAD modeling, combined with his focus on continuous improvement, allows him to adapt to the dynamic needs of the modular construction industry. This blend of creativity and technical proficiency enables ASModular to consistently deliver high-performing, customizable solutions to its clients.
Lead Design Engineer
Catalin Mocanu is an experienced mechanical engineer with nearly 30 years of expertise, specializing in designing innovative and cost-effective solutions for modular structures. As Lead Design Engineer and a key member of the modular solutions team, Catalin combines his deep knowledge and expertise in heavy equipment, automated systems, and container design to create tailored, large-scale modular designs for clients. His proficiency with SOLIDWORKS and Product Data Management (PDM) systems ensures seamless integration with ERP workflows, optimizing both design and manufacturing processes.
Drawing from his extensive experience in designing insulated containers and stackable enclosures, Catalin excels at creating modular solutions that offer both scalability and flexibility, ensuring they meet the diverse demands of each client. His hands-on approach, coupled with a passion for delivering high-quality solutions, makes him a valuable partner in transforming complex engineering challenges into practical, effective designs.
Production Manager
As Production Manager at Allison-Smith Company, Mike Ivey brings nearly 20 years of expertise in the electrical industry, specializing in power distribution, electrical testing, and commissioning. Starting his career as an electrical apprentice with IBEW, Mike has continually expanded his knowledge, becoming highly proficient in NEC code and advanced electrical systems.
Since joining Allison-Smith in 2016, Mike has played a pivotal role in managing the production of complex modular projects, ensuring that every phase—from design to final execution—meets the highest standards. His technical proficiency allows him to support project design efforts, where his insight helps shape efficient and innovative solutions for clients. Additionally, Mike’s leadership ensures seamless coordination between field teams, materials procurement, and production schedules. Known for his collaborative approach and attention to detail, Mike is a key driver of success within our modular team, ensuring that the company continues to deliver high-quality, cutting-edge solutions to meet the evolving needs of the industry.
Purchasing Manager
Matt Moore Jr. serves as the Purchasing Manager for Allison-Smith Company, bringing over 8 years of experience in distribution and vendor management. Matt has developed a comprehensive understanding of procurement and logistics, making him a valuable asset to the team. His expertise extends across both the modular and electrical divisions, where he handles procurement of daily materials, estimating, and negotiating with suppliers.
As Purchasing Manager, Matt assists our modular team in sourcing a wide variety of materials, from specialized manufacturing items to essential components needed for each project. He is instrumental in developing new vendor relationships and ensuring timely procurement to meet the demands of large-scale modular construction. His proactive approach to forecasting and problem-solving ensures each project stays on track.
Project Coordinator
Matt Romano has been an essential member of Allison-Smith Company since 2011 and currently serves as Project Coordinator for our modular team. Starting his journey in the apprenticeship program, Matt quickly advanced his career, serving as foreman and later as an EID (Electrical Installation Drawings) technician in our pre-fabrication shop, where he played a key role in developing design solutions for various projects.
With a degree in commercial construction management and extensive hands-on experience, Matt is uniquely equipped to bridge the gap between corporate operations and field teams. In his current role, he serves as a critical liaison between design, manufacturing, and on-site crews, ensuring projects are executed seamlessly from inception to completion. His responsibilities span material procurement, design, and on-site management and support, providing all teams with the resources they need for efficient project delivery. Matt’s leadership capability and skill at translating complex technical requirements into actionable solutions has been instrumental in the successful execution of modular data centers and other large-scale prefabricated structures.
Safety Manager
Dave Mehlrose brings over two decades of experience in the mission-critical industry, where he has been involved in some of the nation’s largest data center builds. His hands-on background, from running pipe and pulling wire to supporting NETA testing and commissioning, gives him a comprehensive understanding of the field and makes him a vital asset to Allison-Smith Company.
As Safety Manager, Dave plays an instrumental role in maintaining both safety and quality control across the shop. OSHA 500-certified, he leverages his deep expertise in risk management and troubleshooting to ensure that all safety protocols are meticulously followed. Dave’s dedication to upholding the highest safety standards helps drive the quality and efficiency of modular production at Allison-Smith.
QA/QC Manager
As QA/QC Manager at ASModular, Matt Langley draws on more than two decades of hands-on expertise in the electrical and mechanical fields. His career began with generator systems and evolved through a five-year apprenticeship with IBEW, where he honed his skills across a variety of industrial and commercial projects.
Certified as OSHA 500, Matt plays a key role in ensuring both safety and quality control on all modular builds, overseeing every stage from material sourcing to final testing. His extensive experience in risk management and troubleshooting enables him to maintain rigorous safety protocols and uphold the highest standards in modular production.
Assistant Project Engineer
Carter brings a fresh perspective and a passion for problem-solving that has quickly made him an asset to our modular team. Since graduating with a degree in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Southern University, he has been focused on supporting design and manufacturing processes, contributing to innovative solutions and providing hands-on support to ensure smooth project execution.
Prior to joining ASModular, Carter worked as a manufacturing and QA/QC engineer during a co-op with Yamaha. This role allowed him to develop critical processes and documentation which have significantly enhanced the operational efficiency of our modular team by refining internal workflows and strengthening quality assurance protocols. Carter’s skills in SOLIDWORKS and process development, coupled with his strong technical foundation, enable him to assist with everything from design drawings to on-site problem-solving. His dedication and passion for learning position him as an emerging leader within our modular team.
Assistant Project Manager
Isaac Barnett currently serves as Assistant Project Manager at ASModular, where his keen analytical skills and technical expertise are helping to refine operations and drive innovation within our team. Graduating with a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Isaac’s career path has been shaped by his passion for construction and commitment to efficiency.
At ASModular, Isaac is focused on streamlining procurement and manufacturing processes through data-driven solutions, allowing the team to make informed, real-time decisions. With a focus on continuous improvement, Isaac works closely with different departments to ensure that operations are optimized for scalability and long-term success.
